Letter from the Principal

Dear Visitor:

We believe that education is a cooperative effort of the entire school community. Your cooperation and support will enhance our ability to provide each child with the necessary skills needed to reach his or her potential.

Attendance is the key to your child’s success. Research shows that children who are in school most of the time do better on state tests. Schools are responsible for teaching your child, but they can’t do their job if your child is absent. Although children can copy notes or make up an assignment, they never get back what‘s most important: the discussions, the questions, the explanation by the teacher and the thinking that makes learning come alive.

If you have information or questions regarding health issues, please contact our school nurse. As always, make sure your child receives plenty of rest and eats balanced meals.
